Fear and courage: Nelson Mandela

He is a great soul for the revolution he brought about in society.
Perhaps even greater is the revolution he brought about in himself.

His goal - democracy and justice for all - never changed, but he changed his ways several times according to circumstances and his own judgement.
From peaceful to using force to peaceful, from bitterness to reconciliation.
He was a man of fear, just like you and me.
But he said and practiced: "Courage is not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it."
He rose every time he fell.

In this he is an example for billions of inner revolutions in us.
